The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

MLB Vegas Odds: Kyle Lohse and Cardinals vs Milwaukee Brewers
by Frank Martin

St. Louis Cardinals at Milwaukee Brewers (-119, 7.5)

The Milwaukee Brewers have a chance to make a statement when they host the St. Louis Cardinals in a three-game series starting Friday night. The Cardinals are atop National League Central but Milwaukee is breathing down their necks, sitting just 2 ½ games behind.

Despite losing two of three games to the New York Mets, the Brewers own the best home record in the majors at 22-9. That will be put to the test by the Cardinals, who have the best away record in baseball at 20-14 and have won 10 of the last 14 in Milwaukee.

The Brewers have opened as 105-moneyline favorites on Bet Online Sportsbook’s Live MLB Baseball Odds.

Cardinals RH Kyle Lohse (7-2, 2.41 ERA) vs. Brewers LH Chris Narveson (2-4, 4.85 ERA).

Lohse has had a superb season, although he struggled last time out vs. the Cubs, allowing four runs on 11 hits in 5 2/3 innings – the first time he has failed to go six innings this season. He is only 3-7 with a 4.98 ERA in 17 appearances – 15 starts – against Milwaukee. He was a hard-luck loser vs. the Brewers on May 7, allowing one run on six hits in eight innings. Ryan Braun is 8-for-24 with a homer against him.

Harveson has repeatedly been tormented by one bad inning. He has been roughed up for 15 runs in 12 2/3 innings in his last three outings. He has made 11 appearances – four starts – vs. St. Louis with a 1-2 mark and 3.75 ERA. That included a seven-inning stint at St. Louis last month when he gave up three runs in six innings. Lance Berkman is 4-for-10 with a homer and Albert Pujols has two homers in 12 at-bats against him.

Milwaukee managed only four hits in Thursday’s loss to the Mets, just its fifth defeat in the last 19 games. Despite the lack of offense, the heart of the Brewers’ order is clicking. Prince Fielder had a pair of hits in the series finale and is batting .407 (11-for-27) with six home runs and 13 RBIs in his last eight games. Corey Hart is hitting .316 in his last 10 games and Braun is batting at a .360 clip in his last seven. Milwaukee was held to five runs in a three-game series last month in St. Louis.

St. Louis took two of three in Houston as Lance Berkman reminded Astros fans what they are missing. Berkman homered in all three games against his former club and drove in five runs. He has 15 homers on the season, surpassing his total of 14 combined with Houston and the New York Yankees last year.

Pujols is riding a seven-game hitting streak, batting .396 with five homers and 11 RBIs in that stretch. After having his 20-game hitting streak snapped Wednesday, Ryan Theriot went 2-for-5 with his first homer of the season Thursday.

The Cardinals' Tony La Russa will manage his 5,000th game Friday night. He is only the second manager or coach in American pro sports to reach that milestone, behind only the legendary Connie Mack (7,755).

HOT LINES

Saturday's Best MLB Bets

St. Louis Cardinals at Milwaukee Brewers (-119, 7.5)

Brewers’ starter Zack Greinke hasn’t pitched in a game that has stayed under the total this season. Five of his seven starts have gone over, thanks to strong run support from the Milwaukee offense.

But that’s about to change today,

Greinke faces off against the Cardinals' Chris Carpenter, who struggled early, but is coming off his best start of the season.

The under is 4-1 in the last five meetings and 10-3 in the last 13 meetings in Milwaukee.

PICK: Under

Cincinnati Reds at San Francisco Giants (-159, 6.5)

It's Timmy time in San Fran. It's hard not to back Tim Lincecum anytime he's on the bump in San Francisco. But we especially love him today against the Reds and starter Mike Leake.

Lincecum hasn't been his normal lights-out self and has surrendered four and five runs in his last two starts. So he'll be looking to snap out his mini-funk. Leake offers the perfect opportunity.

The Reds' young starter has faced the Giants twice and been pummeled twice, giving up five runs on 11 hits in just over four innings of work the first time. He lasted only 1/3 of an inning, allowing six runs in his other start against the Giants.

PICK: Giants

Dream-Silver Stars Preview
By Associated Press

Atlanta Dream at San Antonio Silver Stars (-1.5, 167)

Angel McCoughtry has been a key contributor to the Atlanta Dream's win streak over the San Antonio Silver Stars.

McCoughtry's role, though, will be unknown Saturday night when the winless Dream try to deny the Silver Stars their best start in franchise history.

In her second season, McCoughtry finished as the WNBA's third-leading scorer (21.1 points per game) while leading her team to the league finals but missed this year's opener after spraining her left knee in training camp.

She returned to the floor Thursday but played a little more than three minutes in her club's second straight overtime defeat, 98-90 to Washington.

"This was just her second day of action full court," coach Marynell Meadors said after McCoughtry scored two points on 1-of-4 shooting. "I want to work her back into a little bit more. It takes time for her to heal.''

With the star forward limited, Erika de Souza led the team with 20 points and 15 rebounds. Iziane Castro Marques added 16 points, but the Dream (0-2) scored 15 over the final 15 minutes. De Souza missed the last 2:44 of the extra period with an apparent nose injury, but is expected to play Saturday.

"We tried to push the ball but we need to make better decisions when we don't have a situation where we can push," Meadors said. "We have to be able to set up and run a halfcourt offense. We just failed to make those decisions."

Atlanta might need all the help they can get against the Silver Stars (2-0), who swept a home-and-home series with Tulsa by a combined 51 points. San Antonio got eight or more points from seven players in a 93-62 rout Friday with Roneeka Hodges scoring a team-best 19.

The Silver Stars shot 54.8 percent in the win after opening with a 55.2-percent performance in a 93-73 home victory last Saturday.

"We got very good energy out of our bench," coach Dan Hughes said. "Tulsa came out and really attacked us. We stabilized but the difference was our bench. They just gave us great energy."

San Antonio hasn't fared as well against Atlanta, losing four straight and the past two meetings at the AT&T Center. McCoughtry has averaged 25.7 points in the past three matchups and scored a career-best 34 in 2009 against the Silver Stars.

She scored 20 points in last season's 75-70 victory in San Antonio, which kicked off a team-record 6-0 start.

The Dream, 4-2 all-time against the Silver Stars, are off to their worst start since dropping their first 17 games in franchise history in 2008.

LADY LUCK

Saturday's Best WNBA Bets

Chicago Sky at Washington Mystics (-5, 146.5)

The Sky are only one game into the 2011 WNBA season and already have some major issues to deal with.

Chicago was downright careless with the basketball in a 65-57 loss to the Indiana Fever last weekend, turning the ball over a total of 18 times – four times before even scoring their first field goal of the game.

"They're pressure didn't necessarily turn us over, but we couldn't get the ball inside," Chicago coach Pokey Chatman told reporters. "We didn't make the right reads. I think they were a little bit tougher than us and we talked about that."

Centers Sylvia Fowles and Michelle Snow each recorded four turnovers while second-year point guard Epiphanny Prince, who led the Sky with 20 points, coughed the ball up three times in the season-opening loss to Indiana. The Sky finished the 2010 season seventh in the WNBA in turnover-to-assist ratio at 1.22.

Chicago is in for a tough weekend, taking on the Connecticut Sun on Friday night before traveling to D.C. to face the Mystics. Both those opponents won their opening games.

PICK: Washington

Atlanta Dream at San Antonio Silver Stars (-1.5, 167)

The Dream seem to be suffering from a finals hangover to start the new year.

Atlanta, which was swept by the Seattle Storm in last fall’s championship series, has dropped its opening two games of the 2011 season and is looking for answers heading into Saturday’s contest in San Antonio.

The Dream lost 94-88 to the New York Liberty and 98-90 to the Washington Mystics this week, with both defeats coming in overtime. Atlanta had chances to win both contests but wasted a six-point lead versus the Liberty and an 11-point edge against the Mystics, burning bettors who took the defending Eastern Conference champs as 7.5-point favorites in both outings. Closing out games appears to be the issue. The Dream have been outscored 28-14 in those extra frames.

A big part of that is the slow progress of star Angel McCoughtry, who is recovering from a knee injury suffered in practice last month. The forward, who averaged 21 points last year, played just over three minutes and scored two points versus Washington in her first game back.

Atlanta will continue to play it safe with its franchise player until it's certain she can handle the minutes. Until then, the Dream will lack a go-to gal when the going gets tough.

PICK: San Antonio

Saturday's Betting Tips: Rain To Impact Belmont

Weather To Watch

Rain is expected throughout the day in Elmont, N.Y., site of the Belmont Stakes.

Who’s Hot

MLB: Giants are 35-17 in Tim Lincecum’s last 52 starts.
MLB: Rays are 22-6 in their last 27 games vs. a team with a losing record.

Who’s Not

MLB: The Red Sox are just 1-6 in their last seven games with umpire Mark Carlson behind home plate.
MLB: Reds are 18-40 in their last 58 road games vs. a team with a winning record.

Quote to Note

“This team has more offensive firepower than any team we’ve played. I mean, for the most part, we’ve been doing a good job defensively, especially in the fourth quarter. We had a lapse [Thursday]. And you know it won’t happen again. It can’t happen again.” -- Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh in the Miami Herald.

Key Stat

13 -- That's the number of 3-pointers the Mavericks made in Thursday's Game 5 win over the Heat. Dallas shot 68.8% from 3-point land. It's tough imagine that will have again in Sunday's Game 6.

Betting Tips And Notes

Most books opened the Miami Heat as a six-point favorite over the Dallas Mavericks for Sunday’s Game 6 of the NBA Finals. But early money came in on the
Mavericks, who lead the series 3-2.

The line dropped to -5.5 at most books on Friday. The total opened and has remained around 187.5.

Eight of the last nine games with umpire Paul Nauert behind home plate have exceeded the total. Nauert is expected to behind home plate for today’s Rangers at Twins affair.

MLB home favorites have covered only 52.01 percent of games heading into the weekend’s action.

Hondo

Hondo had some rough times last night, losing with the Dodgers and the Rays, who were strongly suggested by colleague Tim "Timmy BadTimes" Bontemps. The double-downer boosted the damage to a crisp 1,355 triandoses.

Today, Mr. Aitch is expecting Baker to generate some dough for the cause -- 10 units on the Twins over Texas. Also, he'll try a two-unit win wager on Brilliant Speed in the Belmont.

BIG AL's 3-GAME MLB PACKAGE (19-8 RUN; 2 DAYTIME)

Our 3 selections include the Angels, the 'under' in the Yankees/Indians game, and the 'over' in the Giants/Reds game. At 1:05 pm, our selection is on the Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees 'under' the total. By now, most people who follow baseball know about Cleveland's recent scoring woes, but folks may not realize that the Yankees of all teams are having their own mini-drought right now at the plate. In seven games heading into Friday (three at home and four on the road), the Bronx Bombers plated a total of 27 runs, or just under a four-run-per-game average. They did break out for 11 runs last night, but overall, this is certainly not what we're used to seeing from a lineup that consists of Teixeira, A-Rod, Cano, and Granderson. On the positive side, with the Yankees pitching all banged up right now, big righthanded veteran Bartolo Colon has been everything they could have hoped for and more. With Chamberlain, Hughes, and Soriano, all on the DL - with Hughes being the most serious as well as the only starter - Colon has stepped up and provided quality innings in the rotation. This afternoon he gets his 10th start of the season and it will be his third daytime start and he seems to prefer that throughout his career and this season as well as he has better numbers under the sun than under the lights. Righthander Mitch Talbot will get his sixth start of the season and he's struggled mightily at home (0-2 with an 8.10 ERA) but thrived on the road (2-0; 0.61). Take the 'under.' At 4:10 pm, our selection is on the Cincinnati Reds and San Francisco Giants 'over' the total. Giants righthanded ace Tim Lincecum has not been at his best in his last three starts, but his team has. Lincecum has had one of this worst three-start stretches in some time, going just 1-0 with a 5.89 ERA in just over 18 innings in outings against the Brewers, Cardinals, and Nationals. But despite Lincecum's sub-par performance, the Giants went 3-0 in these games, thanks to some healthy output from the San Francisco offense. In those three games, the Giants scored five, seven, and five runs respectively, helping to ensure that Lincecum's efforts would not go to waste despite his rather human efforts on the mound. The Reds have done exactly the same thing as the Giants in Mike Leake's last three starts - that is to say they've given him exactly the same run support (17 runs in three games) - and like San Francisco, Cincy has gone 3-0 in the process. Leake has pitched better than Lincecum in his last three starts, but don't confuse the second-year starter for the two-time Cy Young winner. Heading into Saturday, the over is 17-9-2 in Cincy's last 28 games. Take the 'over.' At 9:05 pm, our selection is on the Los Angeles Angels over the Kansas City Royals. Angels righthander Joel Pineiro will go for his 100th win (again) tonight at home. Pineiro has been stuck on 99 career victories since he beat the White Sox back on May 10. Since that win (which put him at 2-0 on the season) Pineiro has pitched pretty well, never giving up more than four runs in any of his subsequent five starts, but he just hasn't been lucky. Tonight should be the night that he finally reaches the century mark as he faces a Royals team that is really struggling having lost 14 of its last 19 and whose road record of 7-16 is by far the worst in baseball. With three of KC's regular starters (Sean O'Sullivan, Kyle Davies, and Bruce Chen) on the DL, opportunities abound for spot starters on this team righth now, and one of those is righthander Felipe Paulino who came over from the Colorado Rockies last month. While Pineiro may be going for his 100th win tonight, Paulino must be thinking that he would feel good just getting to double-digit victories as the four-year veteran is just 6-25 in his career despite going to the mound 68 times (36 as a starter heading into tonight). Finally, this is a series which is dominated by Anaheim, as the Angels are 50-24 in the last 74 meetings. Take L.A. As always, good luck...Al McMordie.
